Product Description
The purpose of this workshop is to prepare advanced solar energy experts, architects and engineers to produce high quality specification and design documentation required by architectural design teams, engineering firms, developers and discerning property owners. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to do the following in regards to residential and small- to medium-scale commercial grid-tied photovoltaic (PV) systems:
- Create accurate system design drawings
- Write feasibility reports
- Produce documents typically required for bids and building department reviews
- Describe various aspects of construction administration as related to solar energy system installation
Successful completion of this course grants 24 credits of advanced PV training which can be used to satisfy the education requirement for NABCEP PV Installer certification and Continuing Education for those hold already hold NABCEP PV Installer certification.
