ONTILITY presents Certified PV Installer Training, a professional PV installer training program designed to prepare you to become a NABCEP Certified PV Installer and advance your position in the Solar Energy Industry, one of the fastest growing industries in America.
The comprehensive Certified PV Installer Training program consists of two courses:
-Advanced Solar Electric Training (AS300)
-Advanced Solar Design – Online (AS310)
Both classes are built on and follow the updated NABCEP Solar PV Installer Job Task Analysis. Completing this program will give you the full 58 hours of advanced PV education needed to qualify for the NABCEP PV Certification Exam under the recently approved NABCEP eligibility rules for 2012.
ONTILITY's highly qualified professional solar instructors are NABCEP Certified Installers, field experienced solar designers and consultants and ISPQ Certified Solar Instructors. The program covers a wide range of topics and industry standard best practices.
The Program begins with ONTILITY Advanced Solar Electric Training (AS300), a very intensive five day class. As a motivated participant you will have the opportunity to gain valuable industry knowledge in all areas related to the successful design, installation and maintenance of PV systems. The course is based on the NABCEP PV Installer Job Task Analysis and satisfies the requirement for 40 hours of advanced solar electric training. AS300 is held at the ONTILITY Training Center in Houston and at select locations in North America. See the schedule for locations and dates.
The Program continues with Advance Solar Design – Online (AS110). You will join a small group of advanced solar professionals as you work on PV design challenges under the supervision of ONTILITY instructors. This projects-based course emphasizes commercial system design, relevant construction, NEC, commissioning, permitting and interconnection considerations. The online format is structured around your completion of several design assignments and the evaluation of those designs by an ONTLITY Solar Instructor. Each class consists of a small cohort of students assigned to one of the ONTILITY Solar Instructors and is conducted via Webinar, e-mail and phone calls providing ample access to the instructor and opportunities for interaction with other students.
